score!

I went shopping. The reason I was even there this weekend is I went mall walking with W.  this morning. At a time way too early for my style. We have been meaning to go jeans shopping. I got paint on my favorite ones and she got clay on hers.

But! she's a super shopper. She used to manage the wonderful world of women's clothing, accessories and fragrances at Macy's, as well as managing the personal shoppers. She is the absolute dream of all shoppers. She picks out perfect things I would never think to wear. She finds all the best clearance. She knows what size I am without needing to ask. She then brings more to the dressing room, fixes the stuff that doesn't fit back on the hangers, chats with other shoppers & offers advice, makes friends with the associates by folding the tables nearby the dressing room, and is generally the best little shopper on the planet.

I got a coupon in the mail the other day for the Friends & Family 25% off Entire Purchase. There was also a progressive coupon for $25 off a purchase of whatever, more off a purchase of more, and even more than that off a purchase of even more than that. She found the best stuff, most of which was a zillion percent off already, before the two coupons. Happy me!

We found good bras there, dude if you have boobs at all near a D cup you should be shopping at Lane Bryant because Victoria's Secret just does not get it. Their bras are made by the same company but with better support and fabric. That was a big big bra expedition in and of itself. I probably burned more calories trying on bras than I did mall walking. There are several different styles of bra. I am not a plunge or a balconet. I am a full coverage. Big time. Plus they have cute nighties there that actually do fit a human body versus a stick figure.

So now I have several cute blouses, a few new pairs of teacher pants, two supportive bras that feel like I'm not wearing a bra they're so good. Oh, and the sweet girls that work there told me I have a tiny waist. Me. No I really don't, but the right cut blouse and the right bra makes a ton of difference.

She found the perfect coat, and I have been looking for quite some time for just the right cut of coat.

She found teacher pants. Did I mention that already? In nice drapey fabrics.

OMG. I felt like screaming I was so delighted.

Because.

I got about 16 items, I only spent about $175.

On nearly $1000 worth of clothing.

Why do all of my comments read "the crochet owl is cute???" And why do I not get notified of blog updates even though I'm following you? I know...moan, groan, complain. I so have been missing out. Will need to catch up on all of this.

Oh! LB is the only place for bras if you are not a stick figure. I get the balconett because it is slimming and my boobs aren't exactly perky. Hmmm...too much to share??
