how do I fix this?

1 person has something at 6:55 AM, 2.5 miles away,
2 people have something at 8:30 AM, .5 miles away,
1 person has something at 9:15 AM, .5 miles away.
Do I have to wear nice clothes to class? I could walk but then what if I'm all sweaty & gross all day? If I don't have to wear nice nice clothes, then should I probably get some nicer walking clothes?

Do I let a 3rd & 4th grader walk to school by themselves? Other kids walk to school.

Do I make my oldest walk 2.5 miles to school so he's all sweaty and gross all day? Because he already walks home. He doesn't eat that much in the first place. He's already a stick figure. It's 50 minute walk. He would have to leave at 5:00 AM and he can't be late because that's 6:55 AM marching practice. I think I should drive him.

No bus for kids living that close, huh?

Drive the big one. This is not the year for him to be stinky all day. He is likely to get stinky in PE anyway, but nobody should stay that way all day. Purchase an extra deodorant for his backpack. He usually smells good anyway...if I remember correctly.
Find out WHO else walks and organize a group walk. Or you should drive them.
Will they concentrate on walking STRAIGHT to school, or will that squirrel pop up and chase them down the wrong street.
Wear nice clothes. Take a lightly scented body spray with you. The alcohol will cool you when you get there. Get there early and put on your face in the bathroom when you get there. It only takes an extra 2.5 minutes to do that.

You're going to have to wear nice clothes because who do not know who you are coming into contact with all day who can help you later. Just channel your favorite "What Not To Wear" episode.

Walk in crappy clothes and change in the bathroom? Scope out the best bathroom near your first class each day and take care of sweat, face, and outfit.

I just asked him if he needed another deodorant for his backpack and he said "How do you know I keep deodorant in my backpack?" Love that boy. What if I get lovely tee shirts, sew my own designs in, and dye my fading knit pants back to black? I always wear pearls and have a neat pony tail... of course for practicum I have to dress up anyway. Sigh. I should become a personal trainer so I could just live in yoga pants.

Plus, "putting on my face" consists of lip balm and eyeliner... the more color I put on my face the more I look like a corpse anyway.
