This is amazing footage of the flood of 1927 in Louisiana & Natchez, etc. is something my grandmother would talk about sometimes. She lived in Naples, La. I am not sure where Naples was but it is gone now. The stories she told were so interesting. She could play on a box car. She lived on a house boat. A photographer had her pose on top of the post office where her father was the postmaster. I think she was not in this video. The way she talked, her situation was not that of a refugee, but more like they just lived on a houseboat during this flood... I wonder how much more I can find out!? - Naples was across from Angola.
