projeckt

I might start spelling like my 7 year old.

Here is something I did. I bought basil and mint the other day impulsively in the WalMart garden center on a hunt for purple petunias. The guys and I started sampling the herbs and since I'm sort of committed to the 3rd Grade Cabbage and the other two mystery veggies Log brought me from his classroom adventures, I figured what's two more plants to water? We've started saving our shower water in a mop bucket. Er. Should I say, rather, we recycle water. I have other buckets too because I thought it would be hard to keep it all watered. As of last night the storms have been helpful in probably over-watering everything.

Okay so yeah I bought a basil and a mint. Mojitos anyone?
I hate spending a zillion dollars on flower pots. So I made them myself. At the famous spectacular Dollar Tree one can procure buckets for a dollar. So I did that. Then I took my drill and my biggest drill bit and drilled drainage holes in the bottoms. Oh, see those Fiscars garden tools? $0.99 each! Home Depot! They're really light too, they're made of some kind of plasticky stuff.
