Amid much controversy, my ex and I did manage to figure out what we were doing with the kids for Thanksgiving. It was great that he called and talked to me like a human instead of just emailing angry at me. I cooked all day. I prepared and chopped and assembled. I got really tired. I helped dust and vacuum my friend's house because I use her kitchen/dining room as a canvas for my Thanksgiving masterworks. The kids went away and came back. Then they sort-of ate. I caught a cold or some kind of long lasting allergic reaction. I'm feeling a little better. I'm determined to eat all these leftovers. 

My boy said he ate a lot of turkey and then fell asleep on the couch Thanksgiving night.
