week 3 of student teaching

I made a necklace this past week.
I saw a similar thingy on the Stella and Dot website so I knew I could make one too.

Here is the Stella & Dot one and the link...

Very easy, fold up some ribbon, sew a stitch or two through the middle to hold it together, get an old earring or brooch or whatever to go in the center and use hot glue or whatever you need to do to get it to stick together. I put a safety pin in the back of mine and pinned it to this necklace. The necklaces were things I had already. Here's the picture which could be better but my computer is running slow and it is snowing out and I'm cold and my nails are taking forever to dry so I think I'll go to bed. Yes I retouched my forehead I need Botox.

To prepare for next week/month I printed my calendar to write notes on with my cooperating teacher.
I picked up the trash in the little boys' room, vacuumed my room, L&C's, hall & living room, swept, cleaned the kitchen, did laundry
All of this I did when I was supposed to be doing the lesson plans.
Did lesson plans (to start unit)
Bedroom is halfway livable but still cluttered with nice neat stacks(who has time to go through papers and decide what to shred or toss? who can toss their high school poetry? who can sit still long enough to even think about these things?)
I ade cookies and noticed the oven is acting up again... um, set for 350 and got 225? um, cookies in the toaster oven anyone?
Went to work and hung out with snotty babies, sweet little girls and rude little boys at the childcare for Sat. & Sun. hopefully won't get sick. I met up with a lady that used to take care of my children - we work together now so that was neat.
I think I should go get a pedicure but the timing is all wrong so will probably do it myself tomorrow night. Doing my nails now, it makes my hands so cold but
my love is coming home soon though so I think I should do something nice like that, he likes when my hands look pretty, my fingernails have just shattered and split and fallen apart over the past few weeks though. So really short and polished is going to have to be good enough. Except I have to teach pottery tomorrow and Tuesday and it probably will not last.
I can't believe how quick I got the house cleaned up. I can't believe how quick the weekend is over.
I miss my boys.
