But then I look around me, the house is a mess. Not a bad mess... just messy in a -I've been painting instead of doing housework- sort of way. The red table now has golden tannish streaks and spots and an occasional lightish blue blob. But that's okay right, because I have a sander, I can take care of that little problem later. My painting is somewhat almost finished. It is sort of hard to decide what color the blue dots should be. Then I want to add some other stuff... like some tulle or something, glued down over the dots. I want to collage the dang painting.
Just about every evening here a fog descends, cloaking the tree twigs with beautiful sparkly wonderment. The evergreens even get the treatment sometimes... each needle has a white icing, which is what a flocked tree is supposed to look like, but never really does. The frost sometimes lasts all day. The trees outside my house are the best by far. The formerly orange berry clusters frost over and they hang there like little white birds in the branches. Even the crabapple trees can't compete with the things in my front yard. The crabapples look nice frosted over too, but they don't have that fairy tale quality.
I'm trying to think of all the stuff I need to do.
pick up book from library
call about tacking on internet access to my phone service (J's suggestion)
get my new drivers license
bring info to the place that wants my info
email my sped practicum teacher from last semester and see if she'll get her sister to let me do this semester's practicum with her,
email the other teacher I like and see if I can do my 5 observations for classroom management with her
sew new velcro parts to J.'s jacket sleeves
fold the laundry currently located in the dryer... maybe put it away!
fold the laundry currently located on the laundry couch.
unload and load the dishwasher (I'm sure someboy can do that)
call W. and see how she's doing (probably better to email)
Pray for our friend -I'm not 100% sure what is going on with her situation and I think if you're the praying type, she could use it. If you don't pray, then send positive thoughts.
