This is sort of creepy to have sitting on the rocking chair in the living room. It almost looks like a little baby is sitting over there if I just glance over. I made this one for a niece. I can't decide which niece would rather have this one. I have a ton of other things made. Ugh.
Is it true that upon the coming of the new year one must resolve to do something, as a rule?
If so I suppose I resolve to be a better blogger.
Eating better is something I would resolve to do if it weren't an endless goal for which I occasionally somewhat develop a habit. And mainly if I remember to buy groceries. If there aren't any healthy groceries I eat stupid stuff. Like whatever is left in the pantry.
Flossing? I am a good flosser. I'm a better flosser than most people, I bet. My dental hygeinist suggested some other things. Like a horrible non-needle hypodermic plasticy thing and salt water, does anyone else do that? For their "pockets" - what a pain. It takes half an hour just to get ready for bed now. Sorry honey, I have to irrigate my gums. Ugh.
There's an invention for someone to come up with. Dental irrigation on the shelf at Wal Mart. Sort of like those saline nasal sprays, but for teeth.
I feel like less of a looser today than I did yesterday, and way less of a lopser than I did over the weekend. I can't even spell loser. Is it loser? Looser? I am looser than most losers. One Ell makes it look like Lowser... lo - low -ser.
I got some stuff crossed off the list.
Oh and some stuff that wasn't even on the list, I did that stuff, then added it to the list, then crossed it off.
this boy I know sewed this rabbit and the buttons
I did lots of sewing and crochet over the break. The little boys both wanted to sew rabbits with me again. We made some last year. All very characteristic of us. My friend says they remind her of Tim Burton. Or is it Tom Burton? Some man who makes strange movies. I dunno.
Mom requested some slippers. I looked far and wide for the perfect mary jane slipper recipe. Okay so the first one I made is beautiful and perfect, which was the one I totally thought I screwed up on. I just winged it with the first slipper. It turned out beautiful. For the second one I followed the woman's directions, and it is all saggy on one side. I facebooked the slipper picture. If you're on my facebook you already saw it. Why would following the directions result in a worse slipper than just doing it my own way?
I am semi-excited for classes to start again this week. I went today to school and bugged the nurse. Again. I refuse to get my MMR shot if I already had it. So I sent away for my shot record from NLU. Nothing yet. Anyway it will be here soonish. The wonderful school nurse said she just gave someone else the last one today anyway, so I was fine. I don't really want to pay a hundred dollars for it either. Too much money. I am not into spending money.

i love that baby. it is very sweet. you are not a looser. you are a weiner. tee hee hee.
I like that you added the extra stuff to your to-do list just so you could cross it off. I do that to. It is important to have a clear picture of everything you have accomplished. No need to slight yourself just because you didn't think to put it on the list to begin with, you know? Great minds... :)
PS - That should be "too" and not "to" and I have no idea why my Google account lists me as Tammy and not Lynn. Hmmm...I guess Google is anti-new-name.
