This is what I made today. My dry erase board was so ugly, the frame had red marker on it. So I took some old book pages and glued them on. It fits in the room better now. I am wondering if I could sell these on the interweb?
Yesterday we made goulash. What is goulash you ask? Well I didn't really know either. I have had it before but never cooked it. J. said, elbow macaroni, hamburger meat and tomato sauce. I thought for sure an onion, and looked it up and it said put in some spices and stuff. 2 cups of macaroni turned into about a box and a half, because he just kept pouring them in there. So it's like, block of pasta with a sprinkling of meat now. It is good warmed up, with some broth poured on, and tomatoes stirred in. So it was really peppery but all the boys ate it. Mr. C. does not like spicy food so I'm not sure if he really ate it or if the dogs ate it.
Today J & I went to Omaha for J's doctor appointment and had lunch with his sister, which we haven't done in forever. We barely got home in time to pick up the boys, actually Log had begun to walk home but we caught up with him.
J. and his friend drove down tonight to Missouri to hunt Snow Geese. I think he'll be back Friday-ish.
Log is still awake. He just asked if we could make deviled eggs this weekend. That sounds yummy.
I have two stores tomorrow, so several hours putting out books and magazines and cards, then I think Friday I work at the bookstore. Ugh.
Tomorrow and Saturday I need to do my Couch to 5K thing. I am on week one and you do it 3 times a week. I think I did Sunday, then I shoveled a zillion tons of snow on Monday and Tuesday, today I did less than nothing, so that gives me tomorrow and Saturday to get my last 2 runs in. I really actually turn on Downton Abbey and jog in front of the TV with one headphone in my ear, and listen to the beat of this download. It isn't too obtrusive so I have no trouble watching the show while I listen to the music, and as long as you keep in step with the beat, that's some-odd beats per minute, which counts as a nice walk/jog.
