hidden talents

Me: My question is, have the brooms always had this talent and we only just discovered it??

Sethanol: Well we all knew that if ugly green women sit on them they can use them as a form of transportation as seen in the wizard of oz and other movies based on a true story

Me:  Oh and don't forget the ones in the Sorcerer's Apprentice! They could clean by themselves.

Sethanol: I dont think those are the kind we are dealing with....if the broom is a baby broom and one were to raise it and give it a good home, one might be capable of training the broom to clean by its self

Me: You're probably right. Our average brooms like the one in my kitchen, and in kitchens across America, we're dealing with a bunch of savant brooms, and standing alone is all they can do independently of humans. But is this a new talent? Or could they always do this and we just evolved to the point that we could recognize it for what it was?

Sethanol: Brooms are also used for beating children...the average child is struck with at least 5 different brooms....and 2 of those brooms commit this act independently

Me: Now that is a little known fact! I did not know that!

Sethanol: Brooms are not the enemy here...the owners of the brooms are because the brooms are put in a corner of a small closet and feel neglected so the blame should be directed to the owners that treat their brooms with disrespect lol

Me: The brooms in my kitchen are no exception. One of them jumped out at me a few days ago and I wondered if we had been giving it too much freedom. The broom was standing in the middle of the kitchen for a few days, but later someone put it back between the appliances where the brooms usually stay. I'm starting to see the error of my ways!
