Today so far I have eaten some turkey lunch meat and a boiled egg. I almost forgot I was boiling eggs because I walked in the kitchen a while ago and thought, hmm, what's that cooking smell? And what is that water dripping noise?
There's a Hershey's Bliss commercial on the TV and I love that stuff. But that is not as important as the Neutrogena Wet Skin sunblock commercial that was on there before that. Wow. My kids hate the 15 minute wait between when I put the sunblock on and till they can get in the pool. If you can put that stuff on while their skin is wet, I bet there isn't any wait.
Oh also today I had an interview with the local school district for an art teacher job! Except, it had to be rescheduled because Mr. H. has to move his belongings since the Mighty Missouri River is about to pop right up out of its banks and flood a neighborhood, one of those planned communities where people built million dollar homes on a sandy riverbed bank? I admit I am a little confused about why. I mean, they're really nice houses but wow, 14 or so years ago I moved here and people were saying, "Those people are building their homes on the sand dunes where the river is gonna flood," and people are still saying that. Why didn't the building people listen? This is actually my somewhat similar thought about California. Um, earthquake? Fall off into the ocean? Bad? Ya think? But hey, California has the Silverado Trail. And vineyards.
Woah Drew Carey lost weight? He's like a shadow of his former self.
