meanwhile I've also given up proper punctuation since the idea of bothering to go back and hit the period key just seems a bit too much right now.
oh except then. otherwise you are just going to have to chill in the grammar dept. you know who you are, because I give myself permission to be imperfect
I found some
there is still time
we had our first school-age overnight sleepover guest this weekend and he was delightful. I was thrilled with his manners and he was pretty mellow and tolerated the antics of my kids very well, probably because he has a 4 year old little brother. I was so wistful that I don't have a more spacious house for kids to spread out in. Then much later, when he said his mom was picking him up at 1 PM and I could tell we were already beginning to all wear on one another's nerves. So this child ended up staying 24 hours, is this common?
my living room still smells like Tabasco flavored Cheez-its.
it's a miracle Logie didn't puke
At least the weather was reasonable so we could drive around and get stuff done and visit people over the weekend. It was still cold but at least it wasn't snowing all weekend like it is now. Seriously it hasn't stopped snowing all day. I was grateful that for some reason it was just melting and beading up on the van and I didn't have to scrape or de-fluff or anything. Thank heaven for J. the champion snow shoveler sink emptyer dishwasher filler windshield wiper replacer, my hero.
I can't wait for spring

Yeah, it's hard to get those sleep-over buddies to leave. Count on early afternoon every time. Nobody wants a sleepless, crabby kid coming home. They want them to sleep in until noon at YOUR house. Nice, eh? But remember: Paybacks are a mofo.
wow i can't wait for sleep-overs.
LOVE your blog background. :)
Maybe you could work out a midmorning pickup with the mom when you talk to her about specifics. Or do the kids just work it out and tell you when what is happening?
And I don't check your punctuation. Or grammar. Much. Well, okay, but it is a compulsive habit of mine. And I am sure I misplaced a comma or something there.
We are getting a Chuck E. Cheese's.
I'm pretty sure I talked to her at some point but it never occurred to me to ask about specifics. Time went pretty fast anyway. He was pretty portable, I brought him with me to the grocery store and Marcy's house on Saturday where they herded cats.
