Happy Snowy May Day

Spring was supposed to be nice. For example yesterday and the day before that.
 Yeah. Like this nice:

But no. Consistency Schmonsistity. Today, we have snow.

I wish I had the camera battery charged because the sound of the snowyrain on the goofy aluminum window shade thingys is nice and I would share a video of that sound.  It's funny we have those window shade things because the back of the house gets almost complete shade. I took that picture by pulling down the top part of my bedroom window and shooting out the window with my cell phone. That's where that poor tulip and her little friend a yet tinier purple tulip are huddled, closed up tight and hoping for the best. I didn't cover the tulips. I think if they die I wont feel as guilty planting other things in that bed. As it is, I totally plan on sticking some stuff in that bed, which it appears is solely devoted to tulips, and I am going to work around the tulips but they've divided so much anyway. They're little bitty buds, I'm sure they were planted years ago.

What did I do in April, I wonder. Um, well last weekend this boy used too much Mr. Bubble.
I was okay with the bubble bath. He tends to get fairly grimy, especially his fingers (he picks his nails to the nub and then it hurts I guess, to wash them too much? I dunno.) so a good soak is nice. And I put the bubbles in there myself but obviously I did not stay in the bathroom the whole time and a lot more bubbles were added. This was bubbling up over the side of the tub, up to the windowsill, practically flowing out of the house if I had gone in there any later. And he was just happily wallowing around.

So I made a few videos. You can hear the second I start to panic.

Then it's his turn to panic:

Finally it was just too much, bubble-wise and I told him to let the water out and clean up his mess.

Does everyone else in the world have this much fun? I'm happy to report we in this house have gotten to a point where nobody really freaked out about the bubbles this time. The night we really moved in, there was a similar bubble episode, because a jaccuzi tub is just way too much. And I arrived with the other boys while Log was in the tub. The door was locked (we have a mystery lock with no key) and J. was downstairs doing something, so Log got out of the tub that night and streaked thru the dining room and kitchen, trailing bubbles behind him, to unlock the door for us. There was a lot of drama surrounding that. Lucky for me we have all rather mellowed.

I cut this one's hair, and also the largest one. They decided I could cut their hair so I took them outside and cut basically a mop off the oldest's, and it is lovely hair, very dark and thick and wavy. Like shearing sheep.
His forehead immediately started to clear up too...that was nice.
I only got footage of one guy, the other is so reclusive. Way too reclusive. I took a power cord off his desktop computer I'm so tired of repeatedly asking him to clean or do chores. He's gonna be mad.
