my entire life

What I am doing up, never you mind! I'm exhausted and therefore unable to concentrate on the walk from the living room to bed. Or something like that. It's not even eleven yet. Geesh I stayed up typing stuff last night for class. When I should have been sleeping.

I had a weird week. Patches of no energy with partly teary-eyed moments tending towards going through the motions. Fake it till you make it. Or somethingish.

Someboy is talking in his sleep, the same one that ran around in a loin cloth all evening.

My stomach hurts.

Laundry in dryer and washer. Clean dishes in dishswisher. Made someone put away his own clothes and his brother's too tonight. Biggest wants to go to a dance tomorrow. Bigger is hilarious lately. Big is getting in trouble at school and I need some kind of perspective.

I spent $120 on a cartload of groceries at StuffMart the other day. We really needed it though. I had nothing in the house to eat except some really old frozen fiesta bean mixture. Which probably has been used as an ice pack more than twice. Which negates any actual potential as a meal. Oh and beer, I had some beer in there. But J. brought that over.

So I have some interesting snacks now. Snocks. Did I tell about snocks? One day at StuffMart this man was walking around. And they had moved the chips and crap over to where the baby diapers used to be, because that is like perfect logic, right? And I discovered finally the chips in the diaper department, and he was walking around talking loud about snocks. Oh look, here are the snocks. The snocks the snocks. Look some caw-shews. Then he started singing that song about how she works hard for the money, so hard for ya honey... and wandered off towards the beer. The beer has always been conveniently located near the baby diaper department. Which is now diapers and snocks forevermore.

I brought all this crap home after making groceries, and still have not found homes for all the sundry things I bought. The graham crackers are in plain sight on the floor of the pantry, but Yogie cannot find them to save his life. He keeps asking. Don't I like graham crackers? Aren't they delicious? Oh he's just dying for graham crackers, do I know where they are? And I keep saying no. Don't know where they are. Hilarious.

Collard greens. I bought collard greens and black eyed peas. I wanted the Glory brand black eyed peas but all they had was Bush's. The collards are Glory brand though, which may possibly make up for the lack of seasoning on the black eyed peas.

J. sent me a buddha in an email forward...

"They say whoever receives this buddha will receive an abundance of unexpected money or some very good news

The Buddha of WealthSend to 6 friends or family memberUnexpected $$$ will arrive in 4 daysSend to 12 friends or family membersUnexpected $$$$ will arrive in 2 daysYou won't lose anything by passing this on."

Sort of a novena. But not.

J. and I went out on the river on Tuesday. It was beautiful. It is a small boat and a large river, and the water turns into mercury when the sun goes down. We stood on a sandbar between two wing dams and ate cheese, saltines, and blonde dates and American Ale which tasted a little off to me. I heard owls calling to eachother. I forgot the sunflower seeds, which he specifically requested I remember. He forgave me of course. I wished I had worn long underwear. I thought about it, but didn't. So he gave me his coat. God I love that man.
