Crochet update.

HERE's the eight-legged little darlin'. Totally forgot.

Bad kitty. She bites the yarn, it makes a squinching noise on her teeth like blackboard fingernails, then she gets this grossed out look on her face. Then she bites it again.

Which came first?

I gave this to the kid next door.

Supposed to be a bunny but now it looks like a piggy. Olivia to be specific. So I need to look at more Olivia pictures.

So now I'm stalled.

I did the birdy night before last and a little anonymous octopus, very small and elegant of leg, as yet unfinished.

The bizarro beach bunny. Somebody said her name is Ann. The sarong comes off and those espadrilles have a working closure, but I was too lazy to make actual shoes. The hat's atrocious! It reminds me of my grandmother's bathing cap, pictured here on my head:

I still love to iron. Aren't those cute shoes!

This mouse was made a few months ago but I found him in the bottom of a bookbag with this supermouse cape tied around his neck. He looks like quite the flier.

Random child with other random child's crochet green birdie. He says its name is Captain Jack but the other one says its name is Tweet.

My cousin's husband wants an octopus, and so I am on my way to the yarn store tomorrow! Hooray for yarn. My sister thinks it should cost $10 for an octopus. I said, well that totally doesn't take into consideration they take for-ever! And she said something about how that's my own dumb problem for making them. Something along those lines, I can't quote exactly. So anyway, I can buy lots of yarn for $10 and at least have more of a palette. I should totally be using this time to make up some canvases and transfer some of my little works onto big canvases. Canvi? Ugh. I should be doing all kinds of stuff.
